Additionally, Dr. Sunshein is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Sunshein served in the United States Army from 1984 until 1991. While serving, his army hospital assignments included:
- Madigan Army Medical Center – Fort Lewis, WA
- Brooke Army Medical Center – San Antonio, TX
- 121 Evacuation Hospital, 18th Medical Command – Seoul, South Korea
- Walson Army Community Hospital- Fort Dix, NJ
All of Dr. Sunshein’s education, training, and experience has provided him the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose conditions for his patients.
When patients come in with a general complaint—like “my feet just hurt all over”—Dr. Sunshein can pinpoint the problem and create an effective treatment plan. “If there is generalized pain, I will solve their problem,” he says.
On the personal side of things, Dr. Sunshein enjoys running (as does his whole family), golfing, biking, and is active in the martial arts.
