Carl Braunschweiger, DPM, is a Dayton, OH, native who earned a degree in biology (B.S.) from Wright State University prior to earning a doctorate of podiatric medicine (D.P.M.) degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH.
Following his education, Dr. Braunschweiger completed his podiatric surgical residency at TriHealth in Cincinnati, OH, where he received advanced training in both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Braunschweiger is board-qualified in both reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery through the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He also maintains board certification through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
Dr. Braunschweiger is on staff at both Premier Health facilities and Kettering Health Facilities, in addition to many other local ambulatory surgery centers. He is on most major insurance carriers and has a dedicated interest in advanced surgical reconstructive techniques, but also in providing surgical alternatives to patients so that their treatment can be tailored to complement their specific lifestyle.
